What a great vacation in Porlezza and the great lakes of Italy !

The apartment was beautiful. Located in an ideal place, right in the center
of old Porlezza. Felt like we were in the 14th century, but with the
luxuries (thanks to you and the apartment) of the 21st century  Porlezza
offers so much in terms of beauty, resturants, day walks, nice people. I
can’t think of a better place to stay at, when Visiting the lakes of Italy.
What we really liked about Porlezza was its beauty and central location yet
its not too touristic like some of the other cities in the area.
The apartment was very comfortable, walking distance from the lake, the
coffee shops, super-market..yet very quiet and with romantic atmosphere.

Niva- thank you also for all of the great tips, on where to go and what to
see. Your suggestions on the website were spot on !

עזבנו את הצימר,  מאוד נהננו בפורלצה –  עיר מקסימה. תודה על כל הטיפים והיחס הנעים.

חופשת חורף רומנטית בפורלצה – מי היה מאמין! הגענו לפורלצה בפברואר 2016 למזג אוויר מופלא של 5 מעלות (לפעמים קצת יותר ולפעמים קצת פחות), גשם לפרקים, שלג על ההרים ואוויר נקי וצלול. נהנינו מכל רגע, “נפלנו” על הקרנבל השנתי (אחרי שפספספנו את קרנבל המסיכות בוונציה, ממנה הגענו) וזכינו לחוויה מרגשת ומדהימה. לא ויתרנו על הגלידה בקיאבנה לפי ההמלצות שקיבלנו, אפילו בשלג ובטמפרטורה של מינוס 2 מעלות. היה מעולה! תודה רבה!

Just to say thank you for our stay in Porlezza which was really restful and enjoyable.

Stayed in this apartment together with my family. We booked appt. no 4 as it sleeps 6. Elinor also helped us by putting in a small mattress as we had a young boy with and we were 7 in total. Had all the necessary items in this apartment (except a wine bottle opener) Place was clean and comfortable. Heating system was also switched on before we arrived. I would suggest that for an extra cost (10 or 15 Euros) visitors would find some bread, butter and milk as we arrived late due to bad weather and had to sleep on an empty stomach. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

Great location near the lake front and off the main street. Near bus stop to Lugano and Menaggio (Lake Como). Local beach area nearby and cycle routes.

We stayed in the Lake-view apartments in Porlezza for 5 nights in last April. Two couples with two three years old children. The apartments were absolutely amazing. Great design. Very comfortable. Amazing view from apt. 4 and located 2 minutes walk from Lago Lugano.
We had a great time. So did the children!

This village is unbelievably beautiful, great atmosphere, great food, great people. You can see so many places around Italy and Swiss, and the apartment was brilliant. We were there with 2 children June 2013 and defiantly coming back, once is not enough, and if we were only a couple it would have suit as well if not better

I first wrote you this in November 2011. Since then, as you know, we came back a second time and certainly will do so again! We could not begin to thank you enough for making our recent stay in Italy so magical. There is no better word to describe Porlezza and the area. The apartment was impeccable and situated in the best possible location! It was the perfect home base for our day trips both in Italy and in Switzerland. The tips you gave us before we went were invaluable! Thank you so much! We simply fell in love with the place and we are definitely coming back as soon as we can!!
