On the ground floor, one could savor the tranquility, combined with the special modern-antique atmosphere (a 500 year old chestnut-wood girder spreads across the apartment).
With a large comfortable kitchen and a big window overlooking the yard – you could enjoy the sun even in during winter time. (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed).
Accommodation: Bedroom with double bed, sitting area with sofa bed, dining area, fully functioning kitchen with: microwave, toaster, refrigerator, all cooking utensils/pots/pans, glasses, plates etc’, air conditioner, Wi-Fi, shower and toilet.
Things to note: The apartment is on the ground floor. This means this apartment does not have any lake views. The windows are overlooking a back garden, which does not belong to us. Unfortunately we have no control over the condition of that garden so depending on whether or not the neighbors take care of it, it can look good or neglected. However, the entire building is located literally a 60 seconds walk from the lake front with the cafes and from shops. We highly recommend that you take your morning coffee at Bar Italia overlooking the water or have a night cap at il Cortile di Vino, the lovely wine bar which is in the adjacent alley. There is plenty to do and see, so don’t stay cooped up inside!
Another important note about Apartment 2: Because the bedroom is dug into the ground ( what would have been the building’s cellar), when it is very humid (rainy seasons or high summer) the walls might get wet. For this purpose we keep in this apartment a special dehumidifier machine which is turned on all the time. When the apartment is occupied, we will provide a smaller more quiet machine, which we will kindly request that you keep turned on during the day (when you leave the apartment). You can turn it off at night if you wish.
Prices are per week (7 days).
Prices include: bed linen, towels and electricity.
Heating gas is charged separately (October-April).
Though suitable for children, the apartments are one open space divided to 2-3 levels connected with stairs. Care must be taken with younger children.
